Length of lead is the overall length.  Please measure the inside circumference of your dogs existing collar or your dogs neck allowing the collar to fit comfortably plus the length of lead comfortable for yourself.

Choice of leather width, thickness is 3.3mm-4mm.  Leather is vegetable tanned, full grain back leather, medium firm with a satin finish. Very strong and durable.
